Homeless Outreach Ministry

Our Mission
The Homeless Ministry of New Birth Outreach Church exists to serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness with compassion, dignity, and the love of Jesus Christ. Through monthly outreach, we prepare, package, and distribute meals, hygiene products, and clothing to meet both physical and spiritual needs. In partnership with M2540, we strive to be the hands and feet of Christ by bringing hope, encouragement, and practical support to our neighbors in need.

Our Vision
Our vision is to see lives transformed through consistent outreach, meaningful relationships, and Christ-centered service. We believe that every person deserves to be seen, valued, and loved. By serving faithfully and partnering with community organizations, we aim to create lasting impact in Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL—one meal, one conversation, and one act of kindness at a time.

When
Each month, our Homeless Ministry, prepares, packages, and distributes 120 meals, provides clothing, partners with M2540 to reach individuals experiencing homelessness, shares encouragement, prayer, and the love of Christ


Meals and supplies are prepared and distributed once each month by our dedicated volunteers. Meal preparation & packaging, hygiene kits, and clothing items are prepared at New Birth Outreach Church.


Food Distribution & Outreach takes place at M2540 – 3406 6th Ave. Volunteers gather at the M2540 location to begin food distribution. From there, outreach teams travel to three strategic locations across Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama.
