Our Story
Meet our Lead Pastor
Pastor Carlos D. Coleman and his wife, Monica Y. Coleman, have been blessed with 28 years of marriage and a wonderful family, including their three children—Julian, Bryce, Isabelle, and Noah. Pastor Carlos treasures the time spent with his family, seeing it as a precious gift from God. Their strong family bond and shared moments reflect the deep love and gratitude they have for each other and the life they've built together.
With a background in Business Administration and Marketing from Columbus State University, Pastor Carlos began his career at the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, working in both circulation and advertising. He then transitioned to finance, founding The Coleman Capital Group before serving as CFO for Soto Industries LLC. His journey in ministry began as a deacon at Central Baptist Church in 1999, followed by his ordination into the gospel ministry in 2000 at New Birth Outreach Church. After serving as Youth Pastor and Pastor of Administration, Pastor Carlos has now been honored with the role of Lead Pastor. Guided by the vision in Jeremiah 3:15, he is dedicated to serving God's people with compassion and dedication, building on the legacy of our founding pastor and leading New Birth Outreach Church with a heart full of love and a commitment to spreading God's Word.
